Remote Learning 

Children in Yew Tree Class who are staying at home are able to cherry pick from the following activities:

Practise writing own name (Copy written)

Practise recognising letters

Practise letter formation

Practise direction of letters (anti-clockwise)

Practise number formation

Practise sorting the between numbers and a letters

Practise number recognition 0-5 and beyond 0-20 if confident with this

Practise counting different number of objects to match different number cards

Order numbers 0-20

 

Discuss the importance of washing hands and hygiene

Explore your garden and discuss the garden rules (Please refer to SeeSaw)

Discuss the classroom rules and how these can link rules in the home (Please refer to SeeSaw)

Discuss why it is important to share and play cooperatively. Share equipment for example Lego and demonstrate this

Look at the Barrow Values on the School website. Think about how these can be shown or a time when they have been demonstrated

Draw a picture of your home and/ garden
