23/05/19 - Spelling Bee
It has been a week of fierce competition in the 'Spelling Bee' and 'Times Table Bee', congratulation to our winners and well done to everyone for the hard work put into learning them. I have attached below the 'Spelling Bee' lists for the final half term of the school year.
17/05/19 - Converting decimals and fractions
This week Ash class have been converting fractions into decimals, a tricky skill. One of the things we did in lesson was play on a converting game, lots of the children wanted to go on it at home so I have included a link to the game below.
11/04/19 - Homework and Spelling Bee
What a busy half term Ash Class and Barrow have had! Today alone, we have seen an amazing times table bee take place and had Barrow's Got Talent, congratulations to all those who took part.
Children have been sent home with a physical copy for the Spelling Bee lists but I have also included a digital copy below. It is a short half term and so there isn't a huge amount of time to practice, use it wisely.
I have been amazed by the quality and variety of Tudor homework that we have had in. I have uploaded a digital copy of Ash Class' next homework, this will be going out after the Easter break. Our new topic is Shropshire and the homework is linked to this.
13/02/19 - Homework and Spelling Bee
Well done for all of the hard work that went into the Spelling Bee. There were some excellent improvements in spelling scores and it was very tough competition in the finals. Spelling lists for the Spelling Bee next half term are going to be sent out this week, however, they can also be downloaded on the links below.
We haven't yet finished showing all of the homework from this half term and I have already learnt so many new facts about the polar regions. Next half terms learning will be based around 'The Tudors' and homework will be sent out during the first week back, however, I have also included this homework below for you to download.
05/02/19 - Safer Internet Day
As part of our E-Safety week and Safer Internet Day, Ash class have been playing some online E-Safety game. If you want to try any of these games at home they are listed below:

15/11/18 - Space Homework
Homework for Ash Class went out on Monday 12th November and is due in on Monday 10th December. I am extremely excited to see what you come up with, and hearing you share your ideas. I have included a copy of the homework below.
05/10/18 - Growth Mindset
Ash Class have been discussing the benefits of having a 'Growth Mindset', and how it can benefit our learning. In class, we created some storyboards cartoons to teach about growth mindset, you can see below one of these storyboards turned into a video.
