As a maintained academy, the school's academy trust accounting officer is required to complete and sign a value for money statement in respect of the period ended 31 August each year.
The purpose of the statement is to provide accounting officers with an opportunity to demonstrate to parents and the public that the academy trust’s use of public assets and funds has provided good value for money during the year and to identify opportunities for potential improvement.
Secure financial management is an important aspect of the school's work to provide the best possible education for our children. The careful monitoring and strategic implementation of the school budget is overseen by a committee of skilled staff and governors and the school's chartered accountant. For the 2017/18 financial year, the school received a clean bill of health with regard to financial controls and reporting by external auditors.
